Chop Master Zed - Spiritual Kung Fu Guide (African American)

- Growing up on the mean streets of New Orleans, Zed's seen it all. From household abuse to street violence, Zed's main goal in life was to fight past all that and make a name for himself. As a child, he was adopted by an old monk who was visiting his orphanage on a search for "The Chosen One". He didn't see Zed as the aforementioned hero of prophecy but he did sense a hidden power, a great amount of courage and determination from within. He raised him in his monastery, teaching him the ancient fighting style of the Shaolin Temple.  Zed was a natural, a fast learner who never said die. He grew up to be quite the warrior. Now 21, he bid his shaolan brothers farewell as he embarked on the next part of his training, the challenge of life outside the temple. His name quickly became widespread throughout his journey across the world where he finally came back to his home, America. After walking the streets of New Orleans once again he found a flyer about a tournament held by the Xiox Corporation. Taking this as an opportunity to prove himself he joined without hesitation. Every opponent who struck him down, he got back up and struck harder, winning his consecutive matches until he came face to face with the Mongolian Monster himself, Dursk. Unfortunately Dursk proved to be too powerful for Zed and was beaten severely. In an act of animistic cruelty Dursk grabbed Zed and snapped his neck in front of the whole crowd. Zed fell to the floor dead. The audience was initially shocked, then the most twisted event happened. They applauded Dursk. Xiox saw this as an opportunity to make the tournament more entertaining and made it a rule that if the contestant loses a fight, the winner can decide their fate.

Zed awoke not too long after. What shocked him most was waking next to himself, or really, what was left of his mangled corpse. What surprised him most was the fact no one came to take him away for judgement. He remembered a lesson from his training in the Shaolin Temple about spirits who can't e judged as they had unfinished business, and it was true. Dursk killed him. Deep down, Zed REALLY wanted to return the favour. He realized if Dursk dies, he'd finally be able to rest. But how could he do it? For years he sat down pondering as he surveyed Xiox Corps future tournaments. He was about to give up when an opportunity finally showed up. A man with a funny looking mohawk and a bandanna tied around his face. Zed could sense a great power emitting from his body much like how his adoptive father and master sensed in him. What sealed the deal was when the man caught Zed watching him. He SAW his ghost! Further impressed, he asked for the man's name. "Jack." he said. A smile curved on Zed's lips, this was perfect. This is guy who will avenge his death and put a stop to Xiox's twisted game!

Zed is an all around optimistic man and is quick to give advice. Under his teaching, he will make sure Jack becomes stronger. His prolonged existence of being dead doesn't faze him and he won't hesitate to make a few jokes about his own circumstances.

Kaizer Faust - Street Fighter (German)

- Once a high-ranking official in the German military, Kaizer knew little of emotion until the day he was kicked out of the corps for insubordination. Heavy in his sorrow he quickly became the hometown drunk. Beer was his only friend and everyone else was too frightened of him to do something about it.  One day, a stumbling soldier came into the bar and bought him a drink. Kaizer was initially confused to say the least until the young man turned his head to face him- It was his own nephew, Hans.  He told Kaizer how different everything was without him at the military, his old commander had gone crazy and the soldiers in panic over losing one of their most powerful men. Hans begged him to come back with him. If he couldn't serve the army as soldier, then he could at least show them he was still alive and strong. When he was brought back to the base, the soldiers who caught sight of him immediately looked at his scraggy beard, his torn up clothes and less than satisfactory body shape. True, he had been on the drink for far too long.

One of the men tried to embarrass him by calling him out for a fight. Kaizer agreed without hesitation. In a matter of seconds Kaizer slammed the foolish soldier into one of the parked jeeps, creating a sizable dent. The men who were embarrassed of him before started to look more like they were hopeful. Kaizer grinned, he still got it but this isn't good enough. Not for him and certainly not for his former comrades. With the help of Hans, Kaizer got to work. Months went by and Kaizer showed up at the base once again looking far stronger and healthier than the man he used to be. The soldiers yelped in joy. The fierce Kaizer Faust was back. Unfortunately due to his previous fallout with the military, he could not re-enlist. So he decided to show his support by starting a campaign to show Germany's strength. He issued challenges to anyone who could best him in a match. All proceedings of the matches would help fund Germany's military might and restore the army's lost moral. One by one challengers fell against the mighty glacier that was Kaizer. Whose improvised street fighting and wrestling moves got the best of the many who faced him. In no time, he received an invitation from Xiox to join their tournament. He cared little about the details, joining the tournament only to strengthen his promise to his men.

Kaizer is initially a quiet observer, choosing not to say much. However he is able to loosen up more if you get him a drink or two. He may not have washed away his love for beer entirely but he knows better than to let it take over him. He is passionate about his soldiers and he makes it clear that you don't talk trash about them or his homeland.

Juan Guerrero - Luchadore of the Undead (Mexican)

- Hailing from Puerto Nuevo, Mexico, Juan Guerrero was immersed the art of Lucha Libre. He comes from a long line of masked wrestlers dating back to the golden ages. His family's theme being inspired by The Day of The Dead. Many opponents who faced them often recall their intricate skull-candy designed masks. When Juan was 19, his grandpa blessed him by passing down his mask to him before retiring. Juan would do whatever it took to make his grandpa and his family proud. He trained to his peak, studying every move possible in the history of lucha. However he realized this was not going to be enough. He needed to create his own move: a special move. During one of his daily training sessions his grandpa paid him a visit with some terrible news. His grandfather's mask had been stolen! Enraged, Juan ventured all over Mexico looking for the precious fabric that endured many victories as well as hardships. That mask was a piece of his family's history and he'd be damned if that were taken away. It didn't take very long before he tracked down the thief. He was an old rival of his father who wanted payback for the shame his family had to endure since he was unmasked in front of the whole town. Upon learning this Juan pitied the man but deep down he knew he will have to fight the shamed man for his grandpa's mask.

The two fought with sheer intensity, blow after blow. Neither man would go down. No matter what Juan tried the older, more experienced wrestler managed to escape and counter it. He had to find a way to catch him off guard. It was at this moment that Juan, out of an act of desperation, grabbed the man and catapulted him into the air. He leaped from the ground and grabbed his arms and legs in a lock never before seen and spun around at high speeds, pulverizing him into the ground. The thief was out cold. Breathing heavily, Guan picked up his grandpa's dirtied up mask and tucked it in his pocket. He did it. He not only acquired the missing piece of his family's history but learned the special move he had been trying to create for so long. On that day he christened it "El Dia de los Muertos" or "The Day of the Dead" in English. However his victory did not last so long as he was suddenly struck down by a mysterious assailant. Juan woke up hours later to find a note on the ground in front of him and his grandpa's mask once again stolen. Noticing the letter, he immediately opened to it to find an invitation to a tournament held by Xiox Corp. telling him that if he ever wanted to get his grandpa's mask back he'll have to fight for it. With fire burning in his eyes, Juan accepted and set out to America to once again restore grandfather's name.

Juan is charismatic and a little rough around the edges but his determination is an inspiring thing to behold. He is a very proud luchadore and he won't hesitate to lay you on the mat.
